From what I have read down this thread you haven't learned very much at all except how to be a smart ***. The way you keep trying to one up and flip the narrative back too everyone here for calling you out you would be a great candidate for politics or run the Twitter account for a Progressive Leftist.

I wouldn’t defend my own son if he got arrested. Kids have little to no accountability these days. Do the crime, do the time. If that makes me a “stand up person” then so be it.

Part of being an upstanding person is recognizing that laws should change as society changes over time. If you had a daughter who tried to vote in 1918 and got arrested for it, would you defend her? Given the legalization of female voting made in 1919, would you change your mind if hadnt defended her previously?

It took brave people to stand up and cause change at every turn. This notion you have as the current laws being your moral compass shows you lack a spine and have nothing you actually stand for. You do as your told and will side with the majority no matter what. You actually have no beliefs.

That's why you're getting downvoted. Because it's incredibly pathetic. Not because anyone is defending Johnson. I have no idea what he did or didn't do. And based on the way society has trended the last few years, I'll have to wait to see body camera footage or multiple eye-witness testimony. As unfortunately you can't fully trust every policeman to do their job properly anymore. Too many rotten apples spoiled it for the numerous good ones. Case in point, Dak's "DUI" that wasn't.

Unfortunately, Starkville PD has a hate boner for people like Dak.... MSU football players that is. I definitely do not trust them as my moral compass.

Yeah, you’re right. I realize I made a poor statement that I no longer stand by. I have since been deflecting to distance myself from the statement. But it’s not working too well.

Wow, father of the year candidate here.** Proclaims he won't defend his own son if he is ever merely accused of committing a crime. So what happens if you pull this stunt and your son is found not guilty, hmmmmmm?

Help me help understand your point.

If you had been arrested for a similar charge you would have never seen a court date (maybe if you were a starter on the MS State football team, but even then unlikely).
