If they are playing like they are now I would worry about getting past the 2nd round.
Probably not, but who predicted them to advance past Sweet 16 before the season? After the first polls came out, and Huggs was notified of WVU's #10 ranking, he laughed it off........he knew what we are all seeing, this team has spurts of greatness, but also spurts of not-so-greatness. So I guess it depends on which spurt we are in come March.
We’ve lost or been pushed to the brink by a huge number of teams that are either squarely on or are simply off the bubble. On the flip side, we own a massive win vs UVA and another @Oklahoma. This team is a total jekyll and hyde case, typically I feel like I know where our Ws and Ls will come from, but this year I can’t figure this team out. I’ve thought this team would struggle to make the tournament initially, then thought they could be a threat to cut down the nets, back to thinking we might not make the tournament, then back to thinking nets again, now I’m just lost. There is not an NCAA tournament result that could surprise me at this point. 0-1 or 6-0 everything is in play with these guys.
We dont make it past the second round. A mid major that can shoot better than a local girls high school basketball team will upset us.
Past the Sweet 16? I'll have some of what you're drinking. It this team doesn't get its collective head out of its pelvic cavity - they won't get past the first game. Come on - yesterday we were down one and take a three rather than drive on the big guy who has 4 fouls.
