Can you imagine what he'll accomplish by the time he's 67?

67 = Bo Ryan's FIRST final four.

Sean Miller is a future HOF coach if he keeps coaching. I think if he stays, he can turn Arizona into a modern Blue Blood post Lute Olson. [/B]

Big picture folks.

He's 47, not 67.
We are going on 15 years with no final four for that team. If he wants to make Arizona any kind of blue blood, elite eights are not going to do it.

Think I read that since 2003 (obviously predates Miller, but still), Arizona is 0-5 in Elite Eight games with an average margin of 3.0 points. Ouch. That's got to be excruciating.

Great coaches get to final fours, once you're ere it's more of a crap shoot. But if you're an elite coach the. A final four should be the expectation once every five years.

he has no reason to worry or apologize for anything.

his time will come. Think about this. What happens with Roy, K, Cal, Izzo, and Pitino retires in the next 10 years?

Who do you guys think will become one of the top coach. He'll get even better recruit.

I think he'll get to his final four. Once he breaks through watch out.

may not be a fair point but UK fans were unhappy with Tubby for doing basically what Sean Miller has done post 1998.

And no, Arizona did not get screwed. They played in a conference worse than the SEC and lost 3 games to 3 non-NCAA Tourney teams in a year where the fight for the last couple of #1 seeds was the fiercest in history I'd wager. Those 3 losses eliminated them from consideration for a 1 in the committee's eyes.

They were REWARDED with a 2 seed out west in a virtual home game situation. I suppose they could have put them out east or in the south or in the midwest, but then people would have whined about them being sent so far from home when they "could have been a 1 seed" and were arguable the top 2 seed, other than UVA.
This . Zona has more talent then Wisconsin but Wisconsin has twice the coach and i hate Wisconsin's coach but it is true. Miler can't win the big one .

Yes he has a valid point. But he got outcoached by Bo Ryan yesterday.

First, I have followed UofA basketball for 45 years. I MUCH prefer Miller to Lute Olson. Lute was a good coach but an arrogant jerk. I even preferred Fred Snowden to Lute.

And, some of the best basketball minds and greatest in game coaches never made a Final Four. Bo Ryan did not even get a shot at D1 until he had coached for 20 years. Was he a lousy coach before?

If the commitee had any brains the 1,2 seeds would of been
Midwest UK-Kansas
South Wisconsin-Virginia
East Duke-Nova
West Arizona-Gonzaga

It would of made the brackets more even and Zona wouldn't have been screwed as bad.

UK went from 1998 to 2011. That's 13 years. Cal's incredible run has erased that memory for us. Miller is wearing that millstone title that haunts certain golfers (BPNTWM). Coach never to make a Final Four. He needs to break through or he sounds like the first runner-up in a beauty contest.

Not going to matter, the hammer is coming. Pretty soon some of the people he said this to will say what are your accomplishments without bought players.

That said, I'm glad he's standing firm, even if it's odd that this contradicts when he gave his "farewell" speech at the enf of last weeks game.

We need Miller to stick around until November, ensure that Mannion doesn't go Duke, giving them their next level PG that they desperately need.

Theyll just get Hampton to reclassify anyway.

How can a school let a man get away with this crap.
Teachers, coaches should be shaping young future citizens character.
I guess they are teaching them how the world really works through example.

I’m not a big fan of digging up UK fans’ incorrect posts, years later. I and most everyone on this board have made posts, observations and predictions that were wrong - now, admittedly, I do enjoy when Tard and IU fans do it.
