NC State, VT, or WVU of the realistic options. Id prefer UNC and UVA. Dont see them leaving the ACC realistically.

There are several considerations:
- TV market
- geography
- natural rival(s)
- competitiveness in football
- competitiveness in basketball
- academics
- competitiveness in all other sports

There is no perfect fit additions. But I agree that Missouri seemed to fail to fit many of these. I think better options include:
WV, UL, Texas, Clemson, FSU, NC St, UNC, UVA, Va Tech, Okl, Okl St, Ga Tech

UNC isn't going anywhere without Duke
NC St thinks they belong w/ UNC, and probably wouldn't leave them.
Clemson has had so much success recently, why change.
Texas has their own TV deal, why change.
UL would be the only "city-school"
8 of those have the ACC basketball deal, which might be hard to give up
WV might be the easiest to pick off from another conference.

Other (very) long shots could be Memphis, Marshall, Central Florida, Texas Tech, WKU.

oh I would love for the Thundering Turd from Huntington to get a big taste of SEC football. But honestly they dont have the facilities/infrastructure to compete

Hiring Gonzo Martin(I know what I said) was a mistake.
Did you see what Martic did with Cal? He turned them into a 4 seed in the ncaa tourney, and got great talent to go there. Now, check and see if any other coach since the Jason Kidd era has done anything close with that program. Furthermore, did you see what Martin did with Tennessee? He only there for a very short time and got them to a sweet 16; which is actually pretty rare at UT. His first year at Missouri, he gets them to the tournament even though his best player was out all year. This notion that this guy can't coach is crazy. His best player is out again this year, he will have this team playing at a high level soon in my opinion.

When Missouri let the cry bullies and feminazis, supported by the football team, run off the President of the University a few years, they made the enemies list. Apparently their fan base felt the same as I do. Student enrollment dropped to the point they had to close dorms. Their game attendance is pathetic.

Meh, they don't belong. I just assumed the B12 made us take them as a condition of getting T A&M.

It always pisses me off when announcers say UK is the northernmost school in the SEC. No, that would be mizzou!

From a football perspective, probably yes. Basketball, I don't think so.

Florida State would be my first choice, followed by VA Tech, NC State, and Georgia Tech...in that order.

Florida State had their chance in 1990 and were too scared to come. Besides do we need another trashy Florida team? Virginia Tech and NC State would be about the same as Missouri. Don't add much, but would be OK. Georgia Tech told us goodbye in 1964. That should be enough, also they would absolutely nothing to the SEC. Let the Yellow Jackets continue to be Bobby Dodd's "Notre Dame of the South".

Georgia Tech., Florida St., Miami, and Memphis. Or Texas, NC State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. That's who I'd bring/bring back into the SEC..imagine the rivalries.

West Virginia’s average distance to other Big 12 schools is 1151 miles. That’s crazy.

https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2015/7/29/9029765/big-12-expansion-west-virginia

The average distance to any other Big 12 school is 1,151 miles. In West Virginia's final season as a member of the Big East, the 'Eers played at Cincinnati, South Florida, Rutgers and Syracuse, an average of 511.

According to Google Maps, driving round trip to the Big 12's westernmost school, Texas Tech, would be a 2,270-mile, 43-hour jaunt. Iowa State (862 miles), Kansas (900) and Kansas State (981) are the local conference rivals
