Never heard of this until a few weeks ago. Nice neighbor explained it to us. Left the 2 dogs
out in front yard til around midnight.

Walking this morning, there were a lot of soaped up cars, tp across trees, and
one guy was cursing out a can of shaving cream that had been used to write/draw
on his driveway---since when does that not wash out? He was not happy and said
it would leave a permanent mark. Could that possibly be true?

My Goosey night Moment of Glory came when a buddy of mine and I found a "Anarchist's Cookbook" recipe for homemade napalm.

A quart of diesel, a few crumbled up styrofoam plates, a half bar of shaved Ivory soap and a few globs of Vaseline. We put it in a glass jar and let the plates "dissolve." We fitted it with a molotov cocktail style fuse. We lit it and threw it on the parking lot of our grammar school. It burned so hot it melted a 18"x18"x6" deep hole in the pavement. lol. I never ran so hard, for so long in my entire life. lol
doin this today would proly get ya accused of bomb making as a trerrorist!

I never did a full cruise in the Navy.

The cool kids get flown on and off ships to do their jobs and come home.

Boats make me sea sick anyway. ;)
I'll bet you have some good stories. Sad that you warrior types are usually quiet about those things.

Hey Nicky, my family was from Italy on both sides (Dad graduated BHS in '78; I followed in '98). I actually just got back from walking my dog about a mile and a half (Hawthorne) and outside of the remnants of 1 egg on the ground I saw absolutely nothing of note.

oh...we have someone on this board who's dad was of at least half Polish ancestry who grew up the same time as me....I'm dying to find out who he is cause i got to know him...only Italians were so numerous that there is a chance i might not...I might even know you're family as i lived there ''55'' to ''78''...

mischief night is tonight.. Last year a bunch of cars where i live got hit with eggs. Which sucks because that messes up the paint if you don't clean it right away.

Miss the old days as a kid on mischief night in Eastchester, NY.
