That's a lot of vitriol for somebody not worth a sneeze. He must have done something to make you have such a strong reaction for him. In sports it's best to be loathed or loved. To elicit no reaction is what causes you to be invisible, thus you aren't doing anything.

Well the NIL money has to come from boosters, not the school. So the school receiving more tv money basically doesn't matter in this case.
Also, UT (whorns) had a booster step up and offer all UT linemen 50k per year or something like that. To my knowledge, we have not had anyone offer to meet or exceed that offer at a school steeped in OL tradition.
unless you can figure out a way to funnel the money to the boosters by some kinda legit way, like way over payment for services
We already have boosters who are able to afford matching or exceeding UT's offer. The fact that we aren't matching is the problem. The fact that we might need to launder money to get them to offer would be a bigger problem.
I like Barry...what he did at Wisky is nothing short of amazing and I like people who kill it in the real world.
