Hopefully he can play much more of an offensive role next season. UNC proved today the value of upper class leadership.

I meant can he be consistent or was that a one time thing....
I'd more concerned with him transferring. Lee was projected to be drafted when he was in HS. Was a 5 star McDonald's AA too. Humphries doesn't have his athleticism or conditioning. Better shot but equal or worse everywhere else. He won't get drafted, but he and SKJ may be considering a transfer. Especially with Richards and possibly Bamba coming in.

Hump showed his worth but will he trust Cal to give him minutes next year. Cal will give minutes to the players who deserve it but does Hump believe it?

I hope so. He showed up on a huge stage. Proved his potential we all thought he had coming here. I'm excited for his future if he stays aboard.

he was playing the 4 spot. a good fit for him, better than at center. Cal needs to play him there next season.

I hope he does, but you can't blame if he leaves. He wants to be where he can start and/or get a lot more minutes. I don't blame him for that.

Humphries can be good, but his athletic limitations are going to make his playing time very matchup dependent since Cal is too stubborn to play zone. UNC happened to be one of the teams he matches up well with since they play two bigs a lot of the time.

If he wants more time then he will have to transfer , he doesn't have the talent to command a significant role at this school . Now if he's interested in being a backup that gets spot minutes then he should return .

Why wouldn't he

He has already stated he would have to weigh his options at the end of this year due to his regression and role he played on this years team. He is never going to measure up to the athletes that are brought in here but he can be a solid contributor as we seen tonight. Honestly I would not blame him one bit if he transferred somewhere he could play 25+ every night as that will never happen here.

Hump says he's regressed because of the role he has on this team? Got a link? Of course he can transfer to a place that develops the most NBA talent.

Oh yeah!
