What difference does that make?

The distinction between grad transfers and undergrad transfers is essentially irrelevant now.
But he transferred during Covid year. That would give him another year correct? That year gets made up for everyone.

Huh? I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

He’s already had his Covid bonus year …this year …the only reason he was allowed to play for us this year is because of Covid. He doesn’t get a second bonus season.

No, four at Davidson, no medical redshirts, then this is his bonus covid year
I thought this was his grad year?

Even if it is, it’s irrelevant with since the only way to get a 6th year is a medical redshirt to be involved. He played 4 and Davidson and this is his bonus covid. Eligibility over. He doesn’t get an extra extra year for being a grad transfer.

There is no such thing as a grad year. They are just players who completed their undergraduate degrees but can retain their eligibility and scholarships by going to graduate school. They still historically only could play 4 seasons. Anyone who played last season gets an extra year. This was Grady's extra year.

What do yall think of Grady running the point a lot more? Handling the ball, he looked a lot looser taking shots and was a lot more involved in the offense. May be the way to get the most out of his ability. So, what you do?
Love it as a change of pace type thing...probably our most effective offense in a grind it out half court game

It’s crazy the logic some of you are trying to use here with the “Mintz got 6 years, why not Grady?”. By that logic Mintz gets another year because Coleman-Lands with Kansas is in year 7. I’m tired of explaining it, just ****** Google how college eligibility works.

I get that he isn’t eligible to return but I also feel like they should ask for it just in case

I think as long as you do not have a super quick guy guarding Grady when he is running the point I think he will do well- it showed yesterday and he was more involved with the offense
