Duff would have made Wimsatt much better. With his running skills and better WR I'll bet he could have beat BU. GW never had 4 INTs in one game. Very athletic QB’s can beat mediocre teams. They are high floor but low ceiling if they’re not a good passer and GW was not a good passer.
Getting bad QB play in an unimaginative offense gives you a low floor…like a 1-11 season kinda floor.

The problem is that this team doesn't have Monangai-level elite RB, it doesn't have an OL that can create the holes for an average RB, and therefore can't wear down the opposing defense to pull away in the 4th quarter. You're proving my point of reading the headline and didn’t see the game.

Without Kyle, Gavin doesn’t get two 1 yd scores. Kyle got a lot of the needed yards because Gavin was dog passing the ball. Gavin was literally under 100 all purpose yds for the game until that late run. He didn’t win the game, he just got the headline. Kyle & the defense won that game which was basically every win that year.
