No, what they'll do is keep him as "acting AG" for the rest of the term. Same with Pulte.
This. Republicans will grumble a little, but do nothing as Blanche and Pulte run wild for 210 days. They'll be able to do a lot of damage during that time. Blanche I think really wants the full time job, but he's too toxic to be confirmed. And, when all of this is done, and it's time to hold people accountable, those same pearl clutchers will urge reconciliation, and for the nation to heal by moving on.

Ossoff: There is no world in which Todd Blanche could earn my vote. As far as I'm concerned, he should resign. Todd Blanche is a crony. Todd Blanche is a loyalist. He has no business as the nation's top law enforcement official.

If we want to stop these spectacularly incompetent nominees from getting confirmed, we're going to have to stop relying on a few Republican senators to suddenly discover their courage and integrity. We're going to have to win the majority in the senate.

With all this fraud being uncovered I wouldn't expect dems to make enforcing the law easy for the trump admin. Criminals rarely accept their punishment if they can find a way to avoid it.
