with the Texas team on TV tonight? They look like a damn good contender for number one..... Alabama is good--but limited in spots. I could see this team putting Saban into a conniption fit... in a bowl ...or even Tuscaloosa.

Bama might be able to do many things against Texas, but their OL would not push them around my friend. Right now the only team in the SEC that could hang with Texas, Oklahoma or TTech is Florida. But why argue, we will see for ourselves in January.

Just a jab at the way the nation looks at Bama....and how they will not look at them after the SEC championship.

any team in the country. I'm not saying they would beat any team but they could. I would still pick UF to win the SEC, but you said "hang with". I would not be shocked to see Bama lose to Auburn or win the NC.

the nation is basically over looking them. Nobody is really talking about them, at least not like they normally talk about number ones. Alabama has taken care of business relatively quietly.

let's talk about a weekend coming up in December in Atlanta. Florida is going to jump their bones like that nympho in the handicap stall.

But first of all , they have to get around THIS weekend. After living in Alabama for several years in the past, I can assure you that the animosity and outcome unpredictability of this state playoff game is more unpredictable than the UM vs MSU games. That was not an accident when the Alabama trailer owner (i.e. -- meth dealer) shot the gentile.

Florida should run away laughing for the SEC and the National Title. They just have to show up and perform.

the one time this year that they have been in a close game, they choked. Bama has played in a few games that have been close. If Bama can hang with them, they're going to have an advantage from that standpoint.

Also, Saban is probably the best defensive coach in the country. If anyone can stop UF, it's him.
