Of the starters yesterday? Curious to compare to starters/positions in UMass and BC games.
Starting players like Allison at mlb and Needham at tackle in first two games are examples of coaches misevaluating talent, skillset and usage.

Only reason #41 is on the field is because of the new DC. Fireable offense right there. lolOf the starters yesterday? Curious to compare to starters/positions in UMass and BC games.

Davis at DE and the LB transfer from Rice look to be the only FBS quality additions on D from the Portal. The Secondary looks like a huge downgrade..if that’s even possible. Returning players Sanders and Ofurie are the only ones who look like they belong out there.According to the Rutgers official site Abram Wright (#6) started over Sean Allison (#41) at linebacker and Everett Small (#54) over Chris Vigna (#67) at left guard.
Also, for a defense that everyone seemed to agree needed a complete overhaul, five guys that played significant time last season got much of the playing time vs. USC. Walker and Wright at LB, Sanders at safety, and Angoy and Griffin at DT.
Still seemed like no pass rush, poor coverage in the secondary, and bad tackling...for the most part.
Was anyone impressed by any of the new guys on defense ?
