There in lies the hostage situation.College basketball you love died back in the nineties and I miss it also but you have to adapt. Kids don’t care about these schools and I bet every player on every college team has one goal in mind and that’s NBA, problem is that most of them can’t make it so they stay in school.
As much as having John Wall and players like that helped UK it also kind of cursed UK too.
If a 3 star gets an offer from UK he automatically thinks he’s NBA caliber, he averages 10 points a game and enters the draft (the curse)
North Carolina was exonerated from a lifetime of cheating a couple of yrs ago and the coaches that were caught up in the FBI wiretap are still coaching at the same schools, with the exception of Pitino. College basketball has always carried a stain, but damn,, this shows there is no integrity to the game at all.College basketball you love died back in the nineties and I miss it also but you have to adapt. I don't care about Kentucky basketball anymore. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, maybe it's because we suck, maybe because of our system, or a combination of the three, but I just don't care anymore. I didn't even know we played yesterday vs Auburn and didn't hear we lost until last night when my UofL friend told me. I use to make an effort to watch every game, but why would I watch a team that is tailspinning and participate in the toxicity of the fanbase/program right now? End of the day Calipari will get what he wants, which is his absurdly high paycheck and to get his rent-a-players to the NBA. Call me a fake fan or fair-weather fan, but I'm not gonna waste my time anymore with this program. Anyone else feel the same way or is that just me?
All high and mighty with that book learninOh look at Mr fancy pants over here
I applaud your attempt to give this thread some actual potential. Here's hoping others take the cue.Yes, but there are some things I'll always care about - God, and God's #1 creational gift to mankind, voluptuous redheads:

AgreeI care. It is just a challenge when we are so bad and on top of that everything else is not going great. This is supposed to be my fun diversion. This year not so much.
It’s a college basketball message board. Very 90s. You would not be posting on here if you did not care. I bet your MySpace account has cool UK stuff on itI don't care about Kentucky basketball anymore.
