I enjoy the back and forth at times, and others I get a little worked up. But come on people, we should all use this db as a practice of patience, discourse, and as a platform to express thoughts to others without allowing emotion to dominate coherence.
I fail as much as anyone, but I’m getting better and that’s the point. Or else there are WAYYYYY better things to do with our time.
One way or the other.....people need to leave family out of this bs. I personally think that our identity should remain as “digital” as possible....and conflict should as well. Some stuff I’ve read on this thread and the other are crossing a line.

Just the same as I feel about Trump, it's simply this: If people would not act like a douchebag, then people will respect them and their privacy more. It's really JUST.....THAT.....SIMPLE.
This thread is just a shout out to doc because our last crazy man on here tried to visit him at work and then started getting personal with him. I was jealous and I admit it. I had never been stalked before.
I cant speak for him but that is how I remember it. The guy just lost his ****. Doc handled it pretty well. We are loke brothers here. We fight amongst ourselves but we stick uo for each other. Its tom cruise esque.
Well, he owns his place of employment, but yes. There is another Marshall fan that lurks who does the same kind of **** as what we’re witnessing, and coincidentally, also has a thing for Dave.

I had one of the Marshall tough guys going after me here under his various handles. I put them on ignore. He and his sockpuppets chased me for a good year before I clued him into the fact they were all on ignore. He blew up like Mount St. Helen's and kept it up for another six months. That's takes a special kind of stupid.
He usually claims to be from Michigan, but I think he lives in a tent on the river behind the flood wall in Huntington.

Dude hates me. Councidentally I have an alt-account on the herd board for just childish banter and he has said many tines that my alt acct is his favorite WVU poster. Long live theHamburgleer
I know at one point he bragged about managing trivia night.
Still the all time best was the time Dr. Doom changed the name of his bowl pickm to match his teams name and started winning. Knox thought his pucks were winning when his team was in last place. Doom kept it going for a few days and knox was bragging every day about his great picks. One day he brags all day about his brilliant pick that night and Doom went in and switchhed the oick right before the game. When his pick lost he blamed the world for hacking his picks. I think that is ultimately what turned him on doc. He didnt figure out that those were not his picks until Doom changed his team name and knox found his team in the cellar. It was one of the funnier meltdowns in wvsports history.
Knox was somethin'. When I ran onto him a few years ago on TOS under another handle he seemed a wound a little tight about a couple of minor things, but normal. When I started hitting the boards again, he was the full blown Knox that got him booted.

I don't think anyone seriously considered you to be Knox. Any "lefty" on here is accused of being Knox at one time or another. But what do I know. I don't read all the stuff.
You just have to ask a couple stressful questions. Knox has a pretty disnguishable writing style that would drive an English 101 professor batty. It probably wouldnt be so bad had the guy not had 125 different screen names. He used to defend himself in threads with his other login. We would mess with him enough and eventually he would reply with the wrong one and give himself away.
