Don't think so but there have been times (not always) when I felt we got as much "bang for our buck" as anyone in the country.

Honestly, we don’t sponsor enough sports to be a viable competitor. Stanford won it for 25 straight years when they sponsored every sport known to man. The teams that win this will have rowing, gymnastics, swimming/diving, etc.

Texas has more money than sense

And more big-money boosters. The major sports they consider important they almost always underachieve. That's because big-money boosters always interfere with those programs. Where Texas is always a national championship contender is in non-revenue sports, where the coaches can coach without any outside interference.

That's it. A few years back we were the only school to have teams in the post season in MBB, WBB, FB, and BB and we still were not even close.

It boggles my mind Old Miss has a rifle team and we don't.
