I remember Moorhead being one of the top 2-3 candidates. I can't remember who else we were looking at. Honestly, a lot of people, including myself, were high on Moorhead. We thought the offense would at least hold steady and maybe improve under him. But that didn't happen.

Yea, but Moorhead wasn't the head coach of PSU, Franklin was. Obvious we are putting more emphasis on HC experience this time around. We actually got pretty dang lucky with Mullen that he turned out as good as he was with no HC experience to evaluate him on.
