... the combined record of teams we have beaten this year is 9 wins, 22 losses.

... Colorado, one of our losses, is currently last place in the Pac 12.

... we may never have such an easy schedule as we do this year. We play all the worst teams in the Big 10 minus Rutgers, and our non-conference schedule records are a combined 7-17. (I know Indiana is now ahead of MSU, but MSU is a better team who have faced tougher teams)

... our last two losses were to teams with 2nd and 3rd year coaches who inherited far worse players than we have.

... our next recruiting class is on par with most of our recruiting classes from the past 10 years, only smaller. It is not one that will revitalize this team next year or the one after that (at least so far).

But on the bright side, Luke looks good!

We have to being in some talent at outside WR. Need Betts and then one of Robinson or the Juco kid that was at tcu.

Other than that, we should be good at the skill positions. Need benhart, piper, Corcoran, etc. to develop appropriately.

On D, we need a new DC. Need Hannah and Heinrich to be what we hoped they were. Need last year's secondary class to live up to the hype.

Thanks for that pep talk. I feel like a million bucks.

That is a nice sky is falling post, but a lot of misleading stuff. Both Indiana and Minnesota have third year coaches. Minnesota was very stable when Fleck arrived, they had actually won at least 8 games three of the four seasons before he arrived. He failed to do that each of his first two seasons. Was he a great coach when Frost and the Huskers rolled them last year? And Allen inherited a program that had won 6 games the two seasons before he took over. He failed to do that each of his first two seasons. Frost has work to do and will have some tough decisions to make with his defensive staff this off season, but let’s cool it with the hyperbole and understating the rebuild this staff has to do.

You answer one of my five points, but pretend you answered them all. Tell me how the other 4 points are hyperbole. Even the one point you disagree with is not entirely forthright, pretending that Minnesota and Indiana's programs and level of talent was hunky-dory before their current coaches, ignoring that you are talking about Minnesota and Indiana, not Ohio State and Penn State.

I fully understand that we are rebuilding, but I am sick and tired of hearing about how we are getting better. We are not. Frost is our only hope (I believe if he can't do it, nobody can), but it looks like it will be many, many years before any real change happens.
