Could the negative press from him have implications on recruiting and the national perception of the program? Do you think Bill Moos or Frost should respond to Paul?

I think he should shut his suck so long as the players and coaches are risking their lives for our entertainment.

I don't fear Finebaum. Recruits aren't listening to him, his show is for crazy southern fans.

I think most people know and realize that Finebaum is a blow hard and a shock sports jock, like Skip Bayless. So I don't really think too many people put much stock in what he says.

He was pretty out of line for his comments. I live in Arkansas and people here either like him or hate him.

I fear losing to northwestern a whole lot more than finebaum. No 17 year old kid listens to him. But 17 year olds want to play in winning programs.

Why would recruits care what Sméagol thinks?

No such thing as bad publicity. Let them keep giving us air time on the national stage.

There are few profile pictures better than Colonel Flagg.

If you have a problem with it feel free to call into his show and school him on the matter. Simple as that...

If anything the negative press will likely backfire with recruits. Why wouldn't recruits want to play for a coach and a school that fights for the players ability to play games?

I don't fear Finebaum. I would power powerbomb him. And choke him with his own ears, o.p.

Being afraid of Finebaum is akin to fearing a child with a stuffed animal.

Absolutely no. Frost is as genuine as there is and recruits know that. I mean how can a recruit not want his future coach to go to bat for him?

He's just like a bad cartoon character.

For example: Superman/Bizarro
smilin' mike/finebaum.

That approach might work however if a player becomes deadly ill what parent would allow their son to go play for a death broker?

I would think that Frost fighting for his players to play would be more of a positive for recruiting then anything this blowhard can say to hurt us

No. He'll jump on the next shiny object that comes along any minute now. He's mastered the art of running his pie hole for extended periods of time and not saying anything of value.

I think for a few years Frost could bring up what he did at Oregon and UCF. He literally used film from those places to sell to recruits. Eventually he will have to use film from Nebraska to sell to the kids. Top players want to win and play in big games because they know it’s the best route to the league.

That's pretty much most of tv. Low cost programming. ESPN has to do something to fill time. There used to be a time where ESPN was the place to go for scores, highlights and updates. Now, we just go to the internet. Instant data. So, ESPN comes up with these talking heads. Kinda like sales. Just talk until they buy or leave. I don't understand anyone why watches ESPN when there's not a game on. Who cares what someone else thinks? They are just going to keep talking until you leave. I chose to leave a long time ago.
