Does Coen need to put in a clause that states that the day you hire him is the day we start looking for a new coach?

It actually worked out well for us. What we need to make sure of is not renewing contracts with a low ball buyout.

BINGO! No school including MSU can keep a coach that wants to go to another job. BUT, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't COST either the coach or gaining school when they leave.

In most cases, a head coach gets a 'buyout' when fired by a school .. they should 'pay' when they don't fulfill the contract and head to 'greener' pastures!
