Do we make a bowl game?

I think we had to beat WSU to make a bowl. If we hadn't lost all those players due to criminal activity and started Rettig, I think we would have breezed against WSU and 7-8 wins were possible. With the lost secondary and Laviano at the helm, I see 4-5 wins, which is sad, because I think we have the talent to do better with better QB-ing and a better secondary (both are still somewhat possible, if we switch to Rettig before it's too late or if the secondary guys learn quickly).

IMHO the biggest loss wasn't Barnwell and Boggs. The biggest loss happened in the Sunshine State even earlier than that. When Bailey pulled his boneheaded maneuver for $20 we lost the best DB on the roster. That kid was lightening fast, had great ball skills, and was a flat out stud destined for a 1st round NFL draft position. What a waste of a life.

Thank you for being a voice of reason. It was the SECOND GAME OF THE SEASON against a team we knew we going to have problems with. In typical fashion, the negatards are out in full force with proclamations to fire Flood and Rossi. I listened to everybody's favorite coach Harbaugh yesterday after yesterdays game. He said something to the effect that it is only the second game of the season and Michigan has a lot of work to do. Get it?

Some of you eeyore's sound like we should just forfeit the rest of the games and declare the season as over now.



There are no definites. I think this will be a game like last year and will be decided on which team plays less worse. We stop your run game and put Hack under pressure, then I like our chances. I think this game will be a good test of our run game against a solid run defense. May the less worse team win.

We will be lucky to beat Army and and Kansas. Maryland and TTFP are awful but they seem to play some D while we play none. How is Hack going to be pressured, our D couldn't pressure a grandma walking down the field with a cane

OK. Just go on with your bad self and write the season off based on one game against a team we knew we were going to have problems with. Don't go to any more games and don't watch them on TV. Maybe WSU should not have shown up at all. And Arkansas and Auburn should cancel their seasons. Cannot understand WTF some people think sometimes. Learn, move forward.

No, we beat Wazzu last year when they had a better QB and 3000 miles away. Now at home if not for Grant we would have been blown out against a much worse iteration.

I am not a fan of Arky or Auburn. I am a fan of RU, and I have seen the Flood error for what it is: no on or off the field discipline, no defense without Robb Smith, and atrocious QB play without Fridge. Timeout usage gets more mind boggling by the year.

If I just wanted to spend a day outside I would go to the beach or apple picking. Our fans deserve better than the garbage product we are getting. This is a business, not tiddly winks.

If you think this team is a 2-3 win team based on one game, then maybe you aren't really a fan. Missouri, Auburn, Arkansas should all cancel their seasons. Hell, Wazzu should've canceled theirs!

I was more worried about Washington state than I am penn state. Better match up

By the way...and on the same line of reasoning...I more worried about Indiana on the road than Michigan

Judge the teams by the players and coaches and not the name on the front of the jerseyjersey

4-5 wins. Army, Maryland, and Kansas are awful teams, count those as wins. We might also win one of two between Penn State and Indiana, but not both.

We get 5 wins max for season. DL was exposed against a relatively weak PAC-12 team - the B1G will kill them. The LBs are slow and small - B1G teams with decent TE size and skills will manhandle them. NOL is not as deep or strong - just a mentally weak unit right now despite 2 NFL talents. But the real difference maker here is a QB with a pop warner arm. Teams should easily go 8-9 in the box against this offense and dare Laviano to beat them with his arm. Advantage - opposing defenses.

I's be SHOCKED now...we had no room for error for hopefully 7 wins...Wazzou to me was 1 of 5 must wins...now we must beat a Nebby/Wisky level team to achieve that modest goal....I'm hurting over this home loss that we should've won....Ruined the season for me already and even if we beat PSU it won't feel as good as it would've felt on a winning streak...maybe next yr we'll capture the magic season we crave. This one was about respect.

We just lost a game by 3 pts.! We also showed a lot a stupidity with way too many penalties and some lousy defensive schemes.
If we can fix some of the problems, I see us still beating the less than great teams on our schedule and knocking off another team by upset.
PSU struggled against Buffalo who really showed no offense to speak of.
I am not anywhere near the position of giving up on the season with a 1-1 record.

I hope so but after losing like that i'm not feeling the buzz i get....have to lock those type of home games down...it'll take a shocking Carossless win at the Nits place to get me back on track with this group. I hate to say i feel lack of leadership on our team at the very top as much as i love KF.
