I don’t see anything on the official website. I know there are a lot of rumors etc and I am sure things will change with Covid. Just wondering. Thanks.

There must be doubt whether this season is actually going to start on Nov 25th. No other explanation. My guess is that we are going to start Jan 1 conference play only.

Big 10 was "hoping" to have a schedule out last week. So I would expect a schedule this week especially given season starts in 10 days.

Schedule to date:

- 20 Conference Games (confirmed by Fran McCaffrey)
- Syracuse (ACC Challenge) - 12/8
- Rider (11/28 or 11/29)
- FDU (11/28 or 11/29)
- Sacred Heart (11/25)
- Wagner (don't know date)

Not saying you're wrong as I have no idea but there's no logic to waiting another 6 weeks. The situation is unlikely to be better and is likely to be worse. If you've decided you're playing, get started so you have wiggle room to deal with the inevitable postponements.

I think its going to be a fluid non conference schedule, whereas B1G's schedule will be pretty firm. I think there will be 7 non conference games announced along with the B1G schedule but non conference games will be postponed or find new opponents on the fly when positive cases arise against other teams that have a postponement around the same date.

2 different options:

1. If you wait to start 2020/2021, hope things get better on the backend and fans can attend in May/June (if season extended).

2. NBA process - realize 2020/2021 season is a lost cause. Need to protect 2021/2022 season.
Start 2020/2021 as early as possible now and run through the season as quick as possible.
Then allow a real "offseason" and schedule for 2021/2022.

No idea which makes the most sense honestly.
All options suck.

Any close away games where fans are allowed trying to get creative to see this team play live.

For as insane as Murphy is becoming he seems to have a soft spot for college and pro sports. Like many authoritarian leaders, their vices seem to get exempt from things

An outstanding team like Rutgers should challenge itself more in the nonconference. Other than the ACC game, that’s a really weak schedule. You’ve got the team to move up in competition. COVID isn’t an excuse.

With Covid many teams are playing OOC games close to home. Go check the OOC schedule that Maryland has with 6 easier games at home and only the one away game because it is in the BIG 10-ACC Challenge. We were supposed to play at Seton Hall and also Baylor that is # 2 in the country but we lost those because of Covid. We are in the toughest conference in the country where some polls have 8 BIG 10 teams in the Top 25. It is easy to criticize but we cannot be traveling all over with the way things are going with Covid. If we play all of our conference games we will wind up having played one of the toughest schedules in the country. Who do you want us to play in the OOC?

umm....give me a break

We play 20 big ten games ...and 10-12
Will be against team that will dance

We were schedule out of confrence for
Big ten - ACC challenge (Syracuse)
Big ten -big East challenge (would like have be providence )
Baylor in the jimmy v classic
At Seton hall

not our fault thatOOC games are going local, that big East challenge was cancelled, Baylor and the jimmy v classic got messed up and the ball is ducking us

still ...we will play 11-13 games against teams that will dance in a 27 regular Game season

we aren’t going out to the way to make things soft !!!!

its likely with so much uncertainty and some leagues not even playing that for tournament purpose the non conference schedule really will not be looked at all too much. This year will be all about how you do in your conference..the power 6

It's not a coincidence. College and pro sports are the only ones that make money.

Youngstown State just shut down, they had a December 2 game scheduled against West Virginia. Call them up and get a neutral game in DC or Baltimore (halfway between Piscataway and Morgantown)

Fairfield (and Jay Young) have an open spot the weekend of December 5-6.
