Au fan here and most all of us pull for you guys postseason and enjoy seeing the sec do well, except of course bammer and more recently uga.
I have no clue what I’m seeing right now. Au taking down Kansas, UNC, and UK consecutively is equivalent to me walking out in my Birmingham front yard and seeing a glacier. I cannot comprehend it and it’s as if this team has an anointing and you just happened to be the next up in this epic run. You all are where we are when we lose in football, and it’s terrible. I have to remind myself it’s just a game and I could’ve been born a soccer fan and would’ve never cared about sec sports.

You're coming on a UK Board not just after any loss but a Tournament loss. You're not going to catch everyone singing your all's praises right now to expect anything else but what you see, you just don't know this place. I've lived in multiple states in the SEC and no the majority of rivals fans aren't cheering us on.

We lost fair and square. Can’t argue that. But I can pull for whomever team I choose..... and I hope Virginia beats Auburn by 101 points. I hope Auburn never wins another game.

Having said that.....Kentucky had poor guard play throughout the tourney especially at point.
It took unlikely heroics to get by Wofford and Houston while the Tigers smoked Tennessee, Kansas, North Carolina and took out a Cats team that beat them twice.
As a whole, Kentucky gave the appearance of some unlikely guys counting NBA dollars while the War Eagles played with their hair on fire.
I don't know if Auburn gets to keep this marvelous run on the record books...that'll be up to courts and the NCAA. But they deserve to be in the Final Four. Kentucky just didn't today.
Hate it for Reid and PJ.

Hope that makes you feel better, but its not happening. NCAA cleared both of our players to play after they served their suspension. Person wasn't even accused of buying recruits, he was trying to get players to leave early by setting them with a financial adviser. That's drastically different than KU, LSU, Zona, Oregon and the other team's implicated. We are in the clear.Gonna be a f****ng ***** when their only Final 4 in school history gets vacated.

This is the last place I'd come after something a school accomplished for the first time. You would not be seeing me today had we won. When there are Auburn relevant discussions, I join in. Today there are obviously I a lot of those. I was here to say good game after yall beat us earlier this year and I did the same today. I, along with most knowledgeable Auburn fans, have the utmost respect for UK's basketball tradition.
Poor form to be digging up posts from the heat of the moment after the game and no one cares right now because we're still pissed and hurt. Didn't figure I needed to spell that out. When Cal again got outcoached and lost, my season ended with that loss. I will not watch, nor do I care who plays or wins the rest of the NCAA, but for those who care, watch Auburn goose egg the next round, bet the farm on it.
No, you don't root for the team that just beat you and the majority of their fans would be rooting against you if the tide was turned on them. F Conference pride. Even MJ mentioned UK joined in on the SEC Chant in the UNC game but didn't get that from the Auburn fans for UK when beating Houston.

Yeah, those other two games showed how much better Auburn was than UK. Did you even know they played two other times this year?
Twist it how you want to fit your narrative but Wiley/Purifoy were recruited to Auburn Chuck Person was found guilty of steering them towards that agent and they weren't suspended just for ***** and giggles. Your own school self reported recruiting violations, extra Impermissible benefits on top of the agent based dealing.

Calipari has never been found to be guilty of any wrongdoing in any of the scandals that surrounded him. He was entirely clean. The two instances involved players that were paid by an agent or were ineligible without his knowledge.
On the other hand, Bruce Pearl himself knowingly cheated and then lied and tried to get other people to lie about that cheating. This led to his show cause. Further, early in his career, he recorded a recruit in order to get that recruit to admit that a rival school was cheating, and basically bullied the recruit into admitting it. Then, he also seemingly spliced the audio in order to make it sound worse than it was. Doing so led Pearl into being blackballed from Division 1 for something like a decade.
