There's no way that we're getting Antigua and Chin Coleman and NOT getting some good players.

Cal has shown a real effort to make changes.

We WILL get some good players to go with a solid core that's already in place.

I'd still look for it to take a few more weeks before the roster is finalized though...

At some point you would think Illinois would be making an announcement about their assistant vacancies of both OA and Chin leave. Don't believe they will wait for UK's announcement.

I have hired a lot of people in my life, and one piece of advice I give is that you should not tender a resignation until you have an offer in your hand. If UK has to wait until X number of days after a job listing has been posted before they can send out an offer, everyone is just waiting on the timing.

Yeah, I don’t see the roster being fully set for awhile. I would have to think/hope the new staff gets announced this week at least. Then we will hear some rumors of who the new staff is involved in. But I think we’ll be waiting for the set in stone roster a little longer.

Wise move .Cal has let this program slip to helter skelter mode and anyone that thinks he has some “ grand plan” is naive as hell . At least it appears he is going to make some hires to try and save his *** .

I hope you are right, but I would be willing to bet that the majority of P5 schools will have new players showing up on rosters right up until the educational semester starts. Heck, they'll probably figure out ways to enroll late if necessary.

Yeah, would be tough and definitely not optimal; but it could easily be that late. I’m hoping some guys can make some decisions quickly; but we have no point guard; and unless Cal has something in the works no one knows about, we pretty much have to wait.
