... hard time getting open, or does AM just miss them? We’ve seen numerous times now AM actually getting time in the pocket, just not pulling the trigger. With that time, someone has to be open.

Imo it’s two things the big 10 really gets away with holding up the receivers and no calls but the receiver needs to find other ways to get open, and Adrian struggles finding open places in the zone. If you watch every team we’ve played the use a zone defense

Even if Martinez finds them it’s not like he’s hitting them consistently. Also if there really is no one open he needs to take off and run

NOA was wide open across the middle ...martinez hops it off the ground 10 feet short....that seems to be typical if he throws it at all.....which reminds me...will someone please start teaching him to get rid of the ball instead of taking a drive-killing sack!

For the third or fourth time this year I heard the TV team say the opposing coaches wanted us to make Martinez throw the ball. Ohio State stopped recruiting Martinez because of his shoulder injury in high school. Makes you wonder.

That throw to Noa would have been 6!! I didn't see the replay but it seemed like it was tipped or something. Definitely didn't have the feel off a clean throw.

I'm with you on Adrian taking those slow motion, drive killing sacks. WTH!!! He has to stop letting that happen.

Wiscy dropped 8 in protection many times yesterday and we couldn’t get any separation on routes. It wasn’t entirely Adrian’s fault dudes. Did he miss Noa on a sure touchdown in the first half, did he hold onto the ball a little too long on a couple occasions? Definitely, yes.

Think about it, does Kade Warner, Mike Williams and/or Noa scare you? They can’t separate and certainly aren’t going to go up and get a contested ball. Without Washington and Wan’Dale, all defenses have to do is key on Spielman.

Frost is totally right when he says we have to get better around Adrian. Thankfully and hopefully next year help is on its way.

The pass to Noa was the first pass of the game going into a brisk wind. Somehow the tip of the ball was pointed downwards and the wind just killed it. He seemed to adjust after that.

Thought he threw the ball a lot better today. Swing passes to JD were on the money. Hit Stoll a couple of times through tight coverage. Two very good balls to Noa while on the move to his left for big gains. He missed a couple, but what QB doesnt?

He isnt good at finding open guys while he is scrambling. Plain and simple.

Plus our receivers are too small. They are hard to see and the passes need to be like a pitching wedge, up and over the linebackers which is a difficult throw.

You are not very good at golf if those passes are wedges.
