could I have too many apps downloaded? Mine has turned into a piece of junk lately (slow, have problems making transactions, etc).

Mine did

The same. Then it would randomly power off then come back on, but at the home screen of course. Finally just got another stick. Went with roku this time.

Smart TVs with roku built it in are the ****. Unbelievably convenient and diverse viewing options. We are a spoiled people.

I didn’t realize until last week that you can stream a lot of free programming with Roku on HBONow. It’s like $15 month if you subscribe but half it seems you can watch free. I’ve been watching The Wire for free on there, missed it when it was originally on.

Thats a covid thing hbo is doing right now. They made some of their most significant shows (wire, sopranos, veep, etc) available for free on all platforms for a few months. You can watch on comcast, dish, amazon, etc.
This is also a lead up to their HBO now launch in a few weeks

They absolutely do

They do. I have one I just keep in reserve now. At the end of its use I would have to unplug it from the TV and outlet for a bit.

I know it’s higher than most things... but I invested in the Apple TV 4K and I love it. Having Apple stuff just makes it better. But by itself would be great. It’s fast. It’s never froze on me, and the remote lets you zip through the menus. Bonus is you just use the same charger for an IPhone when the remote’s battery gets low.

they just came out with the 5th gen so the 4th should be dropping in price. The 4th is perfectly fine for what 99% of people would be happy with.

I've had 3 Roku sticks for approximately 3+ years and not one single problem. They remain plugged in 24/7 and when I purchase a new TV I'll upgrade to the 4k.

I have three fire sticks, I guess I’m lucky because they are all still working in their three different versions too. I even jailbroke the original one and it seems to be doing fine still.

Is there a way to transfer watch lists?

ETA: I guess those are in the various app accounts and not on the device.
