Do Cliff's Advisors Realize......

Do Cliff's advisors realize they are separating him from his family even further? The trip from Nigeria will be at least 5 hours further than New Brunswick. This is important if and when emergencies arise.
Cliff also has to ask himself what motivates his advisors. His host family is friends with one of the recruiters. They are doing their recruiter friend a favor by influencing Cliff to attend that recruiter's school. However, is that in the best interests of Cliff?
We live in Arizona. The weather is nice in the winter; no snow! However, come here in the summer.
Fan support here will mainly be from the students. A lot of old people come here to retire and have no interest in the local college sports. The local newspaper is abysmal in its coverage of college sports. If you ask students who is Cliff Omoruyi; they have no idea. What else can I say?

How does one become an "advisor" to a high school basketball player?

Back in the late 60's early 70's I knew some guys that would be called "advisors" today. Not very high up on the morality scale.

YEAH!! Kids from Europe and Africa should only attend an American college on the east coast so they won't be even further away from their families :Laughing

Heard a story once that the state of West Virginia had declared both Jerry West and Rod Thorn as natural resources so they couldn't go to college out of state.

Anyone else thinking that this "decision" is far less important than it seemed a couple of weeks ago?
My thoughts are really on some much more important matters than basketball or football. Sure, I hope he decides on RU, but in the long run I am hoping we can all get through this epic disaster healthy and more focused on the truly important things in life...like life!

If this means anything in his decision, Cliff was tagged in one of those IG #challenges by Arella from Rutgers Women's team, so...
