I’ll take it. If we add Garrison Brooks and somehow hold onto DJ Stewart, this team should have some firepower next year.

Less of a sure thing than Jeffries but I think there’s some smoke there.

I've actually heard that Brooks was more likely than Jeffries at one point. I guess we just need to let it play out.

Read on message board, Wendell green jr at EKU. No idea if it's true, and if it is, how likely it is.

We get that guy, with DJ already coming, and possibly Brooks...along with Stewart and molinar and smith, it’s damn near sweet 16 or bust.

I’ll happily take a round of 32, though.

You just have to wonder if the mom is going to be a holdup again similar to what happened four years ago when we released him from his NLI.

I have no insight on it except to repeat what I've heard. But there are people who are very confident about it. Hopefully mom has had a change of heart.

I suspect it will be alittle easier for him to tell his mom to pound sand as a 22 year old than as an 18 year old.

As of 2 weeks ago, Brooks was more likely than Jeffries. Now looks like we might get Jeffries, Brooks, and Green.

Starting lineup would be fantastic.
Stewart
Molinar
Jeffries
Brooks
Tolu

That team could win the SEC.

That would be just about as ideal as it could be for us next November.

Apparently we meeting with Rocket Watts who is transferring from Michigan State as well. Personally based on what I have seen of Green I would rather have him.

There’s also this Malik Curry kid from Old Dominion that Paul Jones has tweeted about as being a possibility to transfer in. I think I read he averaged 16ppg

What the hell happened with Brooks’ production this year? He went from averaging 17 PPG / 9 RPG in 2019-2020 all the way down to 10 PPG / 6 RPG this season, playing 7 fewer minutes per game. Was he playing hurt all year? Something else going on? FG% dropped 6 or 7 percentage points from his previous 3 year average, too. It’s not often that a guy averaging almost a double-double just suddenly loses 20% of his minutes the following season.

He scored less, but shot less too. Just a general justification for some of the reduced production.

His mom quit making him Campbell’s Chunky Soup and bringing it to his games.

But he shot a much lower percentage. Just seems like he had a down year after getting better eachbof the previous 3 seasons.
