I think it’s hilarious Creighton spent so much on those two. What were they thinking? It didn’t work at Iowa, why would it work there?

My understanding is that Dix transferred primarily to be near his mother who's battling cancer. So maybe ease up a bit on the young man.
Honestly I'm over all the former Hawks. I'm liking the guys we have now.. Don't really miss the Fran era or the players associated with it, with a few exceptions.

They did have Kalkbrenner at Center. Guy was an absolute beast on defense. Playing well in the pros.

Go from probably best defensive C last year with kalkbrenner to the laziest with freeman.
We could definitely use Dix and Sandfort. I wouldn’t have thought Sandfort as much before the season but boy is he on a roll at Nebraska. I don’t think anyone else on the roster last year would have gotten minutes under Ben M, including Harding and Freeman.
