If it's about private messaging. Someone told people to pm them on the other board in a thread, and I thought that was reserved for paying members (there and here).

Over here, click on the avatar of the person you want to contact and then click on it again on their profile page. That should give you a message box by which to write your message to them.

I deleted all the ones that were there when I checked, but @Legendary Cock left a number of earlier messages on my profile page that are now gone but I did not delete. Either he somehow deleted them, or they somehow timed out.

That's really strange. I checked our earlier correspondence and all of our messages are still there on my end.

Maybe it's because I was actually writing and responding to YOUR profile and saw them on yours, but not on mine. It is a little bit of a conundrum. I see them on yours also. I say either watch our content of delete regularly.
