I just watched some footage of him in Ravens camp and, wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who looks less like an NFL QB trying to be one. It’s not just that he’s short, i’ve seen plenty of other short Flutie-like prospects, but at least they were fit and athletic. Whereas Pavia also looks oddly chubby and slow ..in addition to being a shorty. And he has a rather weak arm too.

Honestly, I’ll give him big credit for doing what he did at Vandy. No way somebody with his body should ever have been able to do what he did there.

It says a lot more about Lea and his offensive system more than Pavia’s “ability “. I really like him as a coach.

He represents the type of person any NFL team would run away from. He’s a first class jerk, his family acts like uncivilized trash. Nobody, well maybe the Jets, nobody wants all that baggage.
That isn't really it though.

It is that he is tiny, Tebowish, and is not a fit for most NFL offenses and is still a dart throw for the few teams he fits on paper because of his size.

If he was 6"5 230 out of a pro style offense even with the concerns he'd not make it past the 3rd round and probably still goes in the first.

You can only be a jackass if you are a good player.. He was not both...
He was a good player in college. He is a poor prospect for the NFL.

You can sometimes get away with being a jackass and even a bad player if you seem like a prospect with a sky high ceiling.

That is what he lacks. Most teams simply cannot even imagine him under center even if he was a saint.
