I know a few people that made that choice- stayed home or went to watch at a sport's bar.Maybe lots of season ticket holders who didn't bother to come to a warmpup game?

It's actually super close to campus, within a 10 minute walk. A bit further from the dorms, but not bad at all.The biggest deal is that the stadium isn’t on-campus, I’m guessing? That would prevent all the students just walking from their dorms like they do at Iowa and ISU. Big difference, probably.
It’s also been mid 90s and humid in SoCal for the last week.Major cities with all the pro sports options typically struggle with their college team’s attendance.
lots of options for entertainment dollar.
in Iowa you got the state fair, RAGBRAI, and Iowa home games. As far as big broad appealing list, that’s about it.
Because all the people who were otherwise interested in USC football went to the beach. Right. It’s also been mid 90s and humid in SoCal for the last week.
college that’s close to the beaches…..and extremely hot….the beach is always going to win.
If you’re local to the area you’re more likely to support the sports teams. College and pro.
If you’re a transplant, especially college….youre going to choose anything over college football…at least until the weather cools down

At USC? Probably. They did whatever they wanted on offense. This is supposedly the best overall team Riley has had. They could be very good this season.
