Did the (C)Rock's Stadium Lights seem....sub-optimal?

I was trying to figure out if it was the station's bad camera's and uplink or Metrocast's ****** streaming of the channel but the entire game looked terrible 30% of the time here in HD.

Turf looked awful, like it was coated in cellophane or something. Must have been a combination of camera angle and lighting. That said, I think the same thing about the turf in the Superdome. It always looks strange on camera.

Matt or Jim said the receivers took off their visors & it seemed to be related to the lights.

They were the most distinct shadows I've ever seen. It was like they only had lights on one side of the field.

Yeah, the Superdome turf looked a lot like that at one time, and if you'll recall when we played UAB in Legion Field a few years ago you could hardly see the players because of the shiny plastic grass.

VPI's grass looks good tonight. Of course, this is the first game on it. Nice Bermuda though.
