Did Pitino know?

Pitino by his own admission knew, way back when this story first broke and Pitino was denying that anything happened he said "no way this happened, you'd have to know how this program is to understand, I have people in place, I have security guards, ....if they break a chair in Minardi hall I would know five minutes later", so...by his own words, if there were stripper parties going on, he would know.

If this is true, odds of it involving Chane Behanan?
I always thought it had something to do with Chris Jones. This story from WDRB was published in April 2015 and the book came out a few months later.... This is a good example of the crap UL was getting away with. Look at the ties between Jones' attorney Scott Cox and Commonwealth attorney Tom Wine. Corrupt to the core.

The father of the 20-year-old, who is not a UofL student, also expressed distrust over the relationship between Commonwealth's Attorney Tom Wine and Cox.

A story by Insider Louisville last week noted that Cox and his family have given nearly $6,000 to Wine for his last two political campaigns. And Cox was the campaign manager for Wine in both races.

Nice little system they've got worked out there. Could one of the alleged rape victims have been one of Katina's girls? Perhaps she saw what a sham this was and decided to bring UL down.

I have been an assistent coach. I did nothing the head coach didn't know about. And no other assistent would either.
The logic you're using is what convinced me beyond doubt. No assistant would undertake a 4-year course of conduct that puts the whole program at risk without the coach's consent..., unless the assistant did it to intentionally stab the coach in the back (which is nonsense). Now, if this was a case of an occasional, infrequent illegal meal or $100 handshake, I wouldn't be so confident.

Doesn't matter whether he knew or not, he was in charge. Isn't that what the ncaa said about Calapari at Umass and Memphis ?

Had this talk with several Card fans. They all conceded that there's no way in hell he didn't know what was going on at Minardi Hall. Zero chance. And it's absurd to think otherwise.

I think he had some idea but turned his head, either way he hired those involved and is responsible for the program as the head coach. But Pitino acts like he is totally innocent. There is guilt by association and responsibility.

I wouldn't want my kid to play for a coach who DIDN'T know what was going on!
