I get that he wasn't the greatest coach ever, but he did win us 9 games on a backup QB at the end of the season. You can't tell me TAJ was that much better than Adrian. If the Eichorst didn't force our DC out that team wins 9 games again. I can't decide if people over hated Riley or just suck up to Frost. Where was this "Give him 5 years" with Riley?

Go away troll mike Riley was a bad hire, heck the coach from Utah practically begged for a interview but our great ad mr eichorst had him mind made up by Barry Alveraz who he should freaking hire.

I don't hate Riley... I hate the idiot who hired him. You can't replace a coach with a +70% winning rate with a coach that only won at a little better than 50% of time and wonder why it didn't work.

I never hated Riley, he’s an outstanding person. Eichorst was the one I had an issue with. Not Riley’s fault that he was offered the sweet gig.

Mike Riley is a POS and no he’s not a nice guy. He’s a weasel. Look at how he treated Mark Banker. 20 years together and he fires him via telephone.

Absolutely this. He succumbed to the pressure to fire his best friend who would have probably fielded a top 20 defense by now so he could hire the strain.
Major diff between Riley and Frost. Riley was always a loser so losing was second nature and didn't hurt.
Frost has been a winner everywhere and will never accept losing.

Riley should be criminally investigated for fraud. A fraud of a football coach. No back squates? Don't work the players hard.
It's because of his *** that Frost has the hardest rebuild job of any P5 program in the last 30 years. Frost will need as much time as possible to get this rebuilt.
