It was certainly a tale of two halves. England came out on the attack and then seemed comfortable to play defense in the second half. Italy dominated that second half. It was a great match to go to PKs but yes, I do think England’s passive tone in the second played to Italy’s strength.
To add, you also don’t put in at the last second Rashford and Sancho on to take PKs, both having not played much this tournament nor were warmed up at all.

A well deserved win by Italy, through and through, throughout the whole tournament and last three years. So far I’ve seen Italy win the World Cup and Euros, Nebraska through the 90s, and now if only the Raiders could do something…I was hoping Kane could take them all…
