31-28 boilers. Could see it being more though. It will be a shootout between two good offenses and below average defenses.

Status of two key players still uncertain. Martinez is key for Nebraska. Rondale Moore is key for Purdue.
Assuming both play - Nebraska by 5
If Martinez but no Moore - Nebraska by 10
If Moore but no Martinez - Purdue by 5

We out-gain them with 700 yards of offense, but it stays close due to our usual penalties, turnovers, and the worst special teams I’ve ever seen. We fumble the victory formation with 10 seconds left, which they somehow return for 6 to win the game.

I know this was tongue in cheek but it is virtually certain that Purdue will pass for more yards than Nebraska.

I would set the O/U at 50 pass attempts for Plummer and O/U 350 pass yards.

OTOH, It is equally certain that Nebraska will run for more yards than Purdue. The Boilermakers are ranked #284 in the nation in run ypg - unbelievably bad for a B10 school.

The way NU plays, we will hold them to 100 yd passing and let them run for 300+ :p

I'll go with 45-21 us

I have literally stopped predicting scores since the Colorado game. But I’ll give my thought this time. Both teams are beat up, have injuries and very very young. If this was played in Lincoln this year, I’d go Huskers 40 and Purdue 28. I think Martinez return will give the Huskers a spark and Martinez will show up big 300 plus passing and 80-100 rushing. Plus WanDale Robinson will go for 80 yards or more rushing and 8 rc 120 yards and 3 total TDs. GBR

Pickering hits the game winning field goal as time expires but... we get a false start. Pickering shanks the 2nd attempt just as bad as Armstrong in the CU game and we go home as the losing team.

If he plays, he will set records.

“As far as progressing, he has progressed but still has a ways to go,” said Brohm of Moore, who has missed the last four games after hurting his left hamstring September 28 vs. Minnesota.”

This was the quote from Brohm on the Purdue site as of this Thursday. Doesn’t sound like he will play.

I'll go lower scoring, 21-16 Huskers. Lots of offensive players banged up on both sides.

These players need a taste of victory so bad... I hope they can get their **** together and go out there and earn it.

A road win would also help. I almost like them not having the potential ‘distraction’ of the home crowd.
They can really focus on themselves as a team and rally to grind out a W.

It’s an opportunity to turn towards the right direction.

Our defense better come out fully lit and bursting with the spirit of Garret Nelson’s mullet.

OL better be hungrier than ever for a pancake feast.

Nebraska 38 Purdue 20

Two teams that have been major disappointments this year will have a shoot out with the final score being Nebraska 42 and Purdue 38.

Joe Pisarcik coming out of retirement or death? Whichever applies.

I have little confidence in any victory by NU right now. But, this is a must win and I will go with my heart rather than my gut. I say NU 31 - PU 27.

Purdue 26-22. I picked us to win the last 2 games. I’ve lost confidence in us. I think the team has as well.
