Transition play kept us in the game (barely) during the first half. Diallo, Green and Richards played their best all around games against a good team. (It was Knox's best game, but we already knew Knox could score.)
Diallo played within himself and that's the best I've seen him scrap against a physical team. He looked composed tonight even during UK's bad first half. Green was critical to the comeback and I love having gritty guards. (He was gritty tonight.) Richards rebounded like a man and is clutch at the FT line. I think we'll begin seeing Richards take more 12-15 foot shots like the one SKJ knocked down. Cal will continue to increase his touches on the block because of his good free throw shooting.
Knox deserves all the attention he'll get tonight. (Phenomenal) But, if Diallo, Green and Richards will continue to play like they did tonight then this team could make a huge leap forward heading into February.
