Devine wasn't an NFL back in fall camp. He was an NFL back when Held and our strength staff was done with him. The freshman All-American QB was missing a graduated NFL WR, a graduated starting center and was playing with multiple injuries but you go ahead with your rant.

I think Frost gets a pass for a lot of things other coaches would get drilled for. But I would rank his development and use of Ozigbo as one of the real bright spots of his tenure.

I will go by what Devine said publicly about it.

I'm sure that the coaches have bias toward their own recruits too. We are all human, but Held is not really a guy I would target as being a problem on the staff.

They got rid of the prior OC, and I suspect the new guy will help Frost see things more clearly, as sometimes I had trouble understanding what was going on with them giving an inside back outside carries and vice versa (Mills/Washington)

If there is bias (and I think there is) it's at a different position, and have beaten that horse to death, so won't get into it here.

Devine himself tells you that he credits SF & Staff with transforming his play on the field.

So that isn't about the staff ignoring an NFL quality guy, that is a guy buying in and becoming an NFL guy because of their development.

If you follow the team, and watch the games, you already know that Ozigbo looked totally different in 2018 than in 2017 and 2016. It's really not up for debate. He was a different back.

Ozigbo himself described why that was. You can find his words higher up in this thread.

I'm going with my usual deduction in cases like this. Frost banged your wife. But in this case I think it goes further. You walked in on it. She kept going until she came. Close?

There's no way he could be married. IF he is and she sticks around it would have to be because of Stockholm syndrome.
