.....I can't say as I blame him.
Bad, bad decision. He will sign a contract for more money than most of us make for a few years of work. Unfortunately, he will quickly be forgotten by Mountaineer fans and all pro coaches and top executives. He is not ready for the "Big Time" and may have limited success even with the lower, fringe pro leagues.

I don't like seeing players leave early. I agree with you. He'll make some good money when he signs, but not as much as he would have if he'd finished school. But playing for Huggins....in Morgantown? Show me the money! Lol

Tony, please describe one single *** beating mooU has delivered to WVU!

I can list multiple beat-downs delivered to the herd.

Mountie, if you boys have developed a time machine there ought to be a Nobel Prize in it for you WVU gang! However , as we were talking about future tense that stunning success would be irrelevant.

I have to give credit when due, and it certainly warrants it in the case of the WVU administration.

Never before have I seen a program with the uncanny ability to know when to not play. It's somewhat amazing if you think about it. The Herd rises up to be one of the best in the country, and WVU admins somehow can predict this well in advance and refuse to play the Herd.

I am forced to wholeheartedly agree...they when they are suspect and very apt to lose to MU. If they don't play, they can't lose!

So, the fact that WVU has a long (and recent) history of beat downs vs. Marshall is irrelevant?

I know Coach Dan laid down the doctrine, but I really wasn't expecting for Huggins to tuck tail.

You guys are funnier than hell. LOL.... But, it's somewhat disturbing some of you actually believe your BS.
OK Couch, I'll bite....if you boys aren't chicken then why don't we play? Ain't like it's rocket science we'll just agree to show up at a certain time on a certain date. Just take turns in Huntington and Morgantown like our KIndergarten teacher tought us

Beating you guys consistently and repeatedly in the two major revenue sports does absolutely nothing for us, financially, or exposure wise.

Disingenuously answered as always!

No, those reasons are facts, and genuine. Besides, who cares? No one at WVU or its fans gives a crap about Marshall. The only ones obsessed are the Marshall fans who tie their tattered identity to the hopes of one day beating WVU, and perhaps, legitimizing their program.

The football coaches " legitimized" us several years ago in their polling. It could be argued that Mu beating WVU does nothing for the Herd!

Little ***** went full retard again. According to your logic Marshall is leading the football series 100-12 in the last 112 years. On field results do not matter when comparing MVU to WVU with you fools.

They are clairvoyant I'll tell you. [laughing] Marshall wins every time the two schools don't actually play each other. Marshall was just unlucky all 12 times in football - probably the unluckiest school in the country. Speaking of predictions and clairvoyance, I tried to tell everyone on here that when Marshall hired D'Antoni that in his second year, he would win CUSA and have the herd in the NCAA tourney. I also told everyone that no way in hell could ole Western Kentucky or MTU beat the herd in football back to back. Couldn't be done.

Speaking of the herd rising, which sport is it that they are one of the best in the country? Is it chess? Please elaborate because I want to tell these dumb WVU fans how ignorant they are.

They are the national champs in Moral Victories. After all, Moral Victories are better than the real thing when you can not win on the field.

The Moo is breathing a sigh of relief that they don't face WVU next season and the automatic loss that comes with it.

Not sure where their false sense of bravado comes from?
