Maybe he can be Payne-like on the glass and defensively. At least we have options now at the 4/5. Seems like a solid get.

Having guys that can block shots allows for pressure perimeter defense. Important quality for our 4 and 5s.

Felt news can only be schedule or revenue-related. Since nothing yet has broke about the schedule while many other schools have, I'd think he got Seton Hall a game or games that will produce revenue.

Yup, AD's job has shifted to revenue creation - through donations, scheduling or corporate sponsorships.
Felt said in his letter they were finalizing sponsors for the court and that sponsors for the uniform were also being discussed but wouldn't be announced until August due to NCAA rules.

Williams is a good pickup, especially this late in the Portal. He has weaknesses but his strengths match up well for what Sha demands of his Bigs.
Offensively, he'll set screens and roll to the basket, he'll offensive rebound and he has ability to handle and shoot a little. Defensively, he has the agility to hedge and get back to the paint and he is an elite shot-blocker without fouling. He'll have difficulty with strong physical 5s who play in the low post so hopefully Sha adds someone who can help in that regard.
