That every player that didn't show up (there's like at least 10 in front of Booker) wants to minimize the risk of injury and over playing.

Not sure why they don't focus on that point. NBA season is too long, and playoff is way too long also.

I like Simmons too, even though I heartily disagree with his politics.

If you listen to his show, you know he believes that young NBA stars have historically used USA Basketball as a springboard to becoming better players, leaders and teammates. Like many NBA fans, he was disappointed that young stars who play for notoriously bad franchises (like Booker and Fox) didn’t take advantage of the opportunity.

Booker shouldn’t take it personally, Bill is always going to be a fan, and he thinks Booker has the “it” factor and selfishly wanted to see him blossom on the International stage.

Do think it’s BS how he dogs Booker - like it’s his fault he was drafted by the Suns. Meanwhile, Tatum completely lucked out being drafted by a good team and took a major step back last year.
