I’m not even sure booker was our plan B in that class. Vaughn and Oubre were the first 2 guys Cal really went after hard at that position. Vaughn had eligibility question marks so we backed off and Oubre turned us down for Kansas.

Then there was Stanley Johnson and Justice Winslow as well. Though they were recruited as small forwards and Booker a 2 he played both. So there’s an argument we missed on 4 guys ahead of him. And he’s outperforming all of them.

Our guys seem to out perform most from other schools.

His handles got crazy that’s the big thing.
he has very good ball control. you don’t have to be flashy to keep your scoring options open when you have that. especially when you’re a sniper just waiting for any opening.

agreed, as long as he is not doubled team (in a pickup game).

Y'all realize that guy never started a single game at UK, right? He was purely a backup here.

What does say about how much talent we had on that 2015 team?
