Booker has a high ceiling. Great shooting stoke and underrated athleticism. If he continues to develop his game he will be a star.

Will say it again: he'll eventually go down as the best shooter to ever play at Kentucky.

(Which is different than sayin who was the best shooter while at UK. So save the Louie or Jody or Kyle replies....)

Edit to try to articulate that better......

I never dreamed that Booker would be this kind of player coming out of HS. His work & development the summer before his freshman season & throughout the season is one of UK'S better success stories.

Kelly Oubre who?

Booker's looking great and getting a lot of PT, but darn I didn't realize just how bad the Suns are this year. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out, and whether Booker and the rest of the ex-Cats will all still be there. I'd have to think a lot of teams would be interested in Booker.

Best shooter AT KENTUCKY.....those F*&%ING Crispin brothers!! or maybe Elston Turner from A&M a few years ago.

Even my wife while watching TU play the other day said "Its a shame we didn't have him last year for the WI game" She just shook her head knowing we would have won that game if Cal would have played him in the last 5 mins of the game. The twins had their moments but truth is they hurt us many times.

I still ain't over it. Just ain't.
Just convince yourself that Cal would have rode off into the sunset had we finished 40-0 last season. Would have been a hell of a way to go out.

Instead, we got him back for this season and have a chance to win the title thanks to a down year and great guard play. And we should have one hell of a team next year.

So I guess the argument would be, if Cal would have indeed left had we finished 40-0 last year (just playing Devil's Advocate), would you trade a 40-0 season for missing out on Cal for at least 2 more years, if not more?

That's a tough one. 40-0 makes you pretty much sports immortal but I think Cal still has another two titles left in him at Kentucky if he stays another 5 years. I know "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" but I really don't want to think about moving on from Cal.

Good question. Just to be perfectly honest, a 40-0 season would have been worth it to me personally because it's a once in a lifetime thing. Would just have been unmatched. I need to quit talking about it. Ugh!!
Losing Cal is not something I want to even think about though. Makes me depressed.

Just baffles me how we didn't win all the marbles last season with such a loaded team.
Hmm, lets see. How many 3's did we attempt in the first 35 minutes against Wisky? With that talent we should have put up a minimum of 15. Plus the unfavorable whistle didn't help.

Devastating, but not really puzzling. We had a great team - a great team. But we didn't lose to some scrub team. Wisconsin was a 1 seed, and was a very good borderline great team itself. No shame or mystery there. We lose to a 7 seed? Then you say, "How?!?!?" Single loss elimination tournament, against a really really good team....Devastating, not really one of the great mysteries of the universe....

I think that title might belong to Murray.

Booker is pretty much untouchable. Suns won't trade him.

****.

he's averaged 17.5 fantasy points over the last 2 weeks so I got rid of him today in favor of Luol Deng, who'd been getting like 32 fantasy points. Figures he's bust out of his 29% shooting slump the day I dump him.
Yeah, I thought about drafting him last night but didn't.

Tyler wasn't the player last year that he is now

Okay there, homeslice. Keep convincing yourself that the Harrison twins were better than Booker and Ulis last year. Smart basketball fans knew in December last year who the better players were. Ulis was great pretty much anytime he was on the court. He basically single-handedly won the Lousville game. Andrew and Aaron were fine little players. Ulis and Booker are star talents with balls the size of bean bags. Learn basketball. Learn analysis. Learn having an opinion worth more than your mom's asking rate. Learn living a life. Learn dream making not dream taking. Learn how to have a brain, mang.

Too much twins.

Two banners hang in Rupp cause of "too much twins." And Devin was having a less than impressive tourney to be quite honest. With that being said, kids a stud and he's having a great rookie year and it's only going to get better.

Not sure if you have a beef with him for something else but this response to his comment of "Tyler not being the player last year he is today" is a bit overboard. While I too thought Tyler should have been on the floor during the game, there is no way you can say that he isn't a better player today than he was last season.

I recall clearly many times bigger pg's taking him off the dribble and straight line driving Tyler. He has since stopped them from doing that but last year at times it was an issue. And I seem to recall that Aaron had some pretty big cajones the year before hitting 3 game winners in the tourney to get us to the Championship game. So I wouldn't use that as a gauge when comparing them, Aaron might just win that one going away.

Again I feel Tyler should have been in there at the end but I'm not going to second guess Cal on a decision that is almost a year old. I would suggest you allow others to have opinions on such matters as well and not call them derogatory names when you disagree with them.
