I still stand by my thinking that if a recruit says my school is his "dream school" (everybody else's dream but mine), I'm moving on.

Yes. I think the logical extension of the visit followed by the tweet of an announcement "soon" is inescapable. Particularly since it's been 3 or 4 days since Calipari visited him.
The only way the guys making the CB picks would know what Askew will do is if Askew or someone very close to Askew tells them. A lot of these guys just make an educated guess. Askew just talked with UL’s coach last, then said he is close to a decision. So they guess UL.
The fact that he hasn’t visited yet, and is committing soon, does not bode well for UK. Looks like he’ll be a dirty bird. How the hell could anyone in their right mind choose UL over UK?
He could have been sold by Cal and just wanted to meet with U6 again to make sure. Plus if will still get him on campus before he decides then I think we still land him plus the top target for 2020 is PG Devon Smith who might pull the trigger to get his spot because word a week or two ago was he was close on choosing U6. Askew might just know it's going to be UK or U6 so why not set an announcement date if he down to 2 schools and Cal tells him the PG spot is open. Just because Cal met with him 5-6 days ago and then Mack doesn't necessarily mean it's U6 at least to me.
He could set his decision date after a scheduled visit to UK then everything changes. He could see Oct. 15th as decision day and get on UK campus in early Oct. That's about one month so could be considered soon.
My point is that CB picks are not based on solid information, and can often be wrong. Also, the guys making CB picks for UL this week can turn right around and log a different pick for UK next week. They are just guessing. They don’t know what will happen.
Pretty sure Quickley dominated the same way in high school. How in the hell do you think he got to be a 5 star ? It sure as hell wasn't by being mediocre. It is funny people are bashing Quickely playing against guys in the college ranks by comparing to the other guys who are playing against high school talent. Before we decide whether or not IQ will be better than some of the guys he is being compared to, lets wait and see what they do against college level players, then we can say whether or not IQ would not be a better fit as a JR as opposed to those guys as a freshman.
It’s incredible how many times I guess right which final school a player will choose just by looking at their picture. Askew to UL, pure picture factor.
There has been no visit to U6. Every recruiting service shows if a recruit has made a visit. It’s severely obvious you are a U6 fan mascarading as a UK fan who is spreading lies. You see there is this thing called the internet. From the internet you can check sources. I guess though you have to continue your education past 8th grade to understand this concept. No there has been no visit to U6 and I guarantee you that if he visited U6 he would visit Lexington simultaneously. The only thing on record recently was reported in the article posted that he was visited by your new found hero in Mack and by Cal.
Not really. He is going to take his visits and will then commit to Kentucky.
We tell Green “thanks, but no thanks” then his announcement comes out. I think he’ll take his visits and ultimately pick us.
Agreed, but Louisville is making a comeback, unfortunately. They will have a good team this yr and Mack is making them forget what slick Rick did there. It’s hard to hate Mack because he seems like a good dude. We can only hope cal can convince him to come here and forget about Louisville
I agree but Mack can't make up for Pitino's past sins. UofL will be paying for those sins soon.
I can tell your age by mentioning 8th grade education along with not reading my post. I never said he visited ULs campus. Said he had a visit according to my source. And since you want to Billy bad *** on your post here you go.
I played highschool ball at Dunbar with Mills and grew up with him. He doesn't have many connections or sources at this point. But my clients and personal trainers who work out past and present basketball players at UL and UK come across some information from time to time.
Since you dropped the 8th grade education and then question by UK affiliation I can tell you are young and wear headbands in your church league.
Check yourself. And for the record I want him at UK. Kid can shoot and change games quickly.
Living in Cincinnati my whole life and following X and UC it was fairly obvious to me that neither Mack or Mick Cronin were good dudes. You’ll see soon enough.

Even though I see Mack as a good guy it's hard to believe parents would want their kid to go off to U6 with the scandals so fresh still. Usually, that stuff puts a stigma on a place and it takes time for it to fade.
The parents don’t care about the scandal . Everyone of those guys are gone. It doesn’t matter . Being in the acc helps them tremendously. But askew has seen Louisville campus several times and is going back again for their Louisville live event, for a family that lives on the west coast they sure don’t mind paying to come across the us to visit a school multiple times. That tells me there’s major major interest . Mack has been on him for about 18 months. I just think cal got in a little to late. But if you can get him on campus you never know with cal. Mack is praying there is no Kentucky visit. But I would be shocked as of this moment if he isn’t at Louisville for 2020.
It’s not a guarantee that Quickley will even be back. He could play himself into the draft or pay for play overseas but I do hope he’s back. I’m sure Cal has a plan and we will have to sit back wait for it to play out
We need Quickley back, and it will benefit Quickley to return and show how he can lead a team. He won't get that opportunity this year sharing the backcourt with Hagans and Maxey.
That will make it even sweeter when he signs with Kentucky.
Visited three times on his own dime then he must really like the place then. That’s not a cheap trip.
Eric Bossi says U.K. is very much in it and this won’t be over till November! He also said he’s hearing UL is putting a full court press on D. Smith!
I’d take a Jr. Quickley over any other point guard other than Cade Cunningham, but there are no guarantees with the draft, and you take a player like Askew as soon as you can. I really like his game. Having a point guard that can shoot with Boston and Clarke on the wing would be deadly.
The timing of everything is a little odd, though. If the recruitment goes until November I feel good about our chances. If it ends before BBM I won’t feel as good about it.
I still really hope we get Christopher as well. I know everyone is worried about the bigs, and Todd and/or Brown is almost a must get, but it’s a guards game. You get JC, TC, BJ, CF, and I feel really good no matter what.
