Factor in UK vs UL, Cal Ca Mack... man would think it would make him really think about this.
Even if Mack has done a great job recruiting him.
As a pt guard, would
Be hard to turn down playing for a coach like Cal, especially when he walks into your living room and says “you will be surrounded by Clarke, Boston, Fletcher, Ware, Brown/Jackson/todd(?).
Would be a pt guards dream.

My source says UK has no chance getting Cade. So Kentucky should pass on a top notch point guard to wait on somebody they have no chance getting. Good take.

Christopher is still my favorite, and if we want a team will have fun all year and love playing with each other, he’s the guy. I never did understand anyone thinking Jalen Green could run the point! He’s not and never will be a point guard. Christopher on the other hand is probably not the true, pass first traditional point, but by working with Coach Cal, I truly believe he could be One of the most exciting point guards we’ve had, Right behind Wall and Knight!!

To me Josh has all the athletic abilities in the world but it’s so effortless that it doesn’t look as fancy as some. I’m telling you though, that kid has got some young James Harden type of scoring ability but would rather see his teammates get the glory. He’s a great defender and works as hard as anyone can and he’ll be the one dragging the other to gym at all hours.

Now I’m not saying we don’t a have hard working dudes, we definitely do, but when you can work and play basketball, and also have fun, then that’s when teams take it to another level. He’s a kid that can bring more than just his game to Kentucky, he’ll bring back that confidence and make others around him better.

Anyway, everyone already knows how I feel about it, but I’ve watched way to many of his games and he’s a different kid from who we’ve been getting. To me, the only other kid with his kind of spirit, is MKG. And that as high of praise as I could ever give a kid in my book.

Look I’m not saying this kid could go to Mizzo and lead them to a final four.. the talent around him wouldn’t be there, but mixed with what we’ll have at Kentucky, that’s a winner, and I’d almost guarantee a FinalFour. Just one mans opinion, who’s watched way too much basketball. Haha. Thanks and Go Cats!!

I'm scouring the web instead of paying attention to a training I'm in.

.. still seems that the only positive news was from BEFORE Askew met with UofL yesterday and decided he'd be committing soon. Unless I see some positive traction for UK, I'm going to assume he's a Card.

If he picks UL with even more NCAA penalties possible, while turning down Cal and and a possible place on a 21st century Fab Six, then he's simply beyond help in the first place.:)

My source that is close to Scruggs has said his pick is UL but they know nothing as if now.

His visit went really well so this timing is not the best.. Mack needs a PG and he just might of found his.

I read an article that said he had met with both cal and U6 in the last week and that he has visits planned. So while an announcement could be “soon” that could mean 6 weeks.

For some reason I can’t understand why he keeps getting over looked by fans on here and scouting who keep saying “Cal needs to get a pg”. I’ve watched Quickley this summer while he played back home and he’s better now than any PG Cal is recruiting or in HS other than Cade Cunningham. On top of that he’s exactly what UK will need next year in a tall pg who can shoot and defend. Some people just want the next hot thing I guess and that’s understandable if the player is a generational talent but there is only one of those in the HS ranks right now at PG

Maybe he just rolls with that five star junior-to-be Quickley that we all keep overlooking for some reason?

What visit? The kid hasn’t visited UL from what I understand and both Mack and Cal have visited him in the last week. Saying his “visit went well” sets maybe bs meter off.

No i just checked. No UL visit so your source is going off of what happened in a living room. Doubtful

No use talking about how good Christopher is because he will not be coming to Kentucky.

Thanks. That’ll save me some time i guess. Lol. He probably doesn’t end up here, but I sure would like to have him in Blue and White. Of course it doesn’t matter what anyone of us thinks or hope, but we all still have our wish lists and he’s near the top of mine. Only behind Cunningham for me personally. I do like Askew though and think he’s be a great fit also. Thanks for letting me know the 100% facts though.

There’s just soo many great players out there right now that could help Kentucky. As for the big guys TODD is at the top as my choice, I’m sure I’m not alone with that. I should’ve just added this to my last post I guess. Ohh well. Go Cats.

Hmmm... the Crystal Ball picks are 100% Louisville. I don't think I would want a recruit that would even consider going to U of L and the Infamous Squirting Hos.
If he is committing soon I believe he plans to reclassify to 2020. If that is the case I think it will be Kentucky. Why go to UL? They are currently being investigated by the NCAA for paying players while on probation. There is good reason to believe UofL will be sitting home during next March and April while the NCAA tournament is being played.

I feel like UK under Cal need a Top PG. I can't begin to understand why a guy from CA would pick U6 over UK. At Uk look who he is passing to, Boston, Clarke, more to come. I don't think U6 has a single recruit for 2020 and I know they don't have a Top 100 recruit. I just don't see U6 landing Top 10-15 kids. Who's he going to pass to with U6 being ranked so highly this year I'm sure they will lose a good deal. It just makes no sense with us having the PG spot open.

I thought U6 was in tight with 2020 PGs #21 Love, Scrubb (SG, not sure if can play PG), #26 Steward (CG, but thought he wanted to play PG?), and the one I thought they were about to land was #52 PG Devion Smith.

Smith has 14 crystal ball picks and U6 at 79% and I thought they were supposed to land him soon. At 5ft 11 he ain't playing nothing, but PG. So I guess they just cast him aside because he was the hot talk for them and their first commit a week or two ago. Makes me wonder if Askew is staying in 2021 if he picks U6, but why would he pick this early. U6 has also offered Zion in 2021. Seems a little odd and usually Cal is the guy who meets with someone and then things move fast not Mack. Just saying, it seems like we have a chance here. Dude can come in with #1 class and start for UK and have a shot at a title.

Uhh No they aren't . But to pay attention to that is a fools errand anyway/

I still think we land christopher possibly as our PG.
