I’ve always used MSM for my Bermuda with really good success. Now Amazon will not deliver to me in Florida. Will MSMA give me similar results?

Are you able to buy MSMA? If you’re having trouble buying MSM you probably are going to have even more trouble getting MSMA.

MSMA overall is a better product. It’s much better against crabgrass and other grasses and MSM is pretty limited against grasses.

What is best to kill dollarweed that won’t harm my centipede grass?

Sorry, if I’m hijacking the thread. This is the first year I’m actually doing something about weeds in the lawn.

I used TruGreen for a season. They sucked. They couldn't kill my nutsedge and their fertilizer didn't do much either.

Don’t know much about centipede. I did find this on dollarweed.

Imazaquin (such as in Image Nutsedge Killer) can be applied safely to bermudagrass, St. Augustinegrass, centipedegrass, and zoysiagrass, but do not apply to tall fescue. Apply imazaquin in the late spring (after spring green-up) when weeds are small. A second application can be made in six weeks after the initial application.

Others know more than me but from my limited understanding they are for different weeds. I use MSMA, with success, on grassy weeds like crab grass but it isn't good for broad leafed weeds. I used MSM turf for the first time this spring and it is doing pretty good on virgina buttonweed. The vb came back after 10 weeks and I just did a second application of MSM turf which better than anything else I have used including roundup.

A new product from PBI Gordon on the market to help with your sedge problems Vexis® Herbicide Granular uses the proprietary new active ingredient pyrimisulfan to deliver exceptional control of sedge and kyllinga species, plus listed broadleaf weeds. The granular formulation reduces the potential for drift or off-target application and can be applied to wet or dry turf. And Vexis is labeled for use on listed cool-season and established warm-season turfgrasses, including improved varieties of St. Augustinegrass.
