If I was 30 points ahead of my nearest competitor, I wouldn’t debate. Let DeSantis, et al, debate themselves. If one of them gets within 15 points of Trump, then he can consider debating.
Or not.

Disantis turned out to be a dud.If I was 30 points ahead of my nearest competitor, I wouldn’t debate. Let DeSantis, et al, debate themselves. If one of them get within 15 points of Trump, then he can consider debating.

Primary candidates should have to debate a minimum 12 times. If I was 30 points ahead of my nearest competitor, I wouldn’t debate. Let DeSantis, et al, debate themselves. If one of them gets within 15 points of Trump, then he can consider debating.

How would you enforce that? Wouldn’t that bring up the 1st Amendment issues? If you have a right to speak, don’t you have a right not to speak?Primary candidates should have to debate a minimum 12 times.
After the Primary they should debate no less than 12 times.
Wouldn't interfere with 1st amendment if it was a requirement to run for president. How would you enforce that? Wouldn’t that bring up the 1st Amendment issues? If you have a right to speak, don’t you have a right not to speak?
The GOP wants all primary candidates to support the nominee, so to get out of debates, all you have to do is not make the pledge.
I like to see debates, but 12 would be way too many for me. I’d like to see 2 or 3 for the primaries and the general election.
Trump has masterfully accomplished something you malcontents on the TDS infected Left fail to give him enough credit for. He has rebuilt and essentially redefined the GOP base voter. He's literally transformed the heart of the party from "go along to get along" afraid of the main stream media metrosexual country club wimp noodles into brash, bold, & fearless "make no apologies" America first Patriots!A dud, not a dude.
