No, and at this point I doubt anybody ever will be. There is a strong snitches end up in ditches culture where he is from.
Yep, no chance it gets solved, especially with the attitude towards police this year. The killer will go free and probably kill someone else at some point and/or be dealt with by "street justice" or be killed because of some other dealing. It's a sad deal and wish Bear could have stayed out of there.
Law enforcement agencies were aware of and interested in the many trips Bear was regularly making between Birmingham and Starkville. In a concerted effort to avoid throwing shade his way it will be left at that.

I'm not saying you're wrong but it's more evidence that people should be bringing attention to social injustice if the only people in this country being paid to solve murders aren't solving murder cases because they are ******** about someone protesting in Portland or because an NBA player wore a BLM shirt. Please don't turn this thread political and get it locked.

The Birmingham police are doing the best they can. But if there is no evidence to work with then that is all they can do.
Also so far this year Birmingham has had 97 homicides. The police there are overwhelmed, and the city is run by, lets just say, poor leaders.

Jackson is at 107 as of yesterday. With 50,000 less people....
You're not very good with population numbers. I know you like to say that Huntsville is bigger and better than Birmingham, but the Birmingham metro population is twice Huntsville's. It's going to take you a while to catch them.To say the least, and it's been that way for years. That's why the city has gone from 360,000 to just over 200,000 since 1950. They'll be the second largest city in the state in a year or two. I don't know what the solution is, or even if there is one. If what's posted here is true about Jackson, they both have similar situations, only Jackson is on a much smaller scale.

Huntsville metro isn't even as big as Jackson yet.

SMH. Well obviously. That happens with cities that are older. Many factors at play, and the economy circumvents it all, and Huntsville is winning that one. I trust you can make these distinctions.Birmingham's population is 209k and Huntsville's is 200k, so he was pretty much dead on. The Birmingham-Hoover MSA is 1.1M and Hunstville MSA is only 455k. But even though that gives a lot more potential market for Birmingham to tap into, it also in many ways is going to make it harder for Birmingham to fix itself, as it means there are better options outside of Birmingham for people to live in.
People from certain factions and backgrounds don’t talk to police and never have or will...regardless of “political turmoil” or any other nonsense. That isn’t some new 2020 thing.
