Fall depth chart
What more do you people need? You can’t honestly believe yourself to be that much better a QB evaluator than Rhule/Satt, can you?
So when we need to pass and put up points he trusts Purdy more.Rhule said if we’re down 2+ scores purdy is the backup
I, unlike so many, take him at his word when it comes to the QB depth chart
Apparently that was exactly the right move by the coaches. He wasn't dismissed from the team, just disciplined. It got his attention as it was intended to do and he responded positively. That's a big success story for both the coaches and for him in my book.I thought that Josh Fleeks got sent home for showing up to fall camp significantly overweight? How did he still make the depth chart? That is kind of concerning for the WR position.
It’s sad watching the great Kong die on this hill, but that’s the exact sentiment that comes from the quotes. “If we need to throw it maybe it’s Chubba”. That comes off as, if it’s 0-0 in the first quarter and we obviously will need to pass at least sometimes, “maybe” it’s Purdy because HH accuracy is that bad. Kong is stuck on the “down two scores” bit so he thinks that’s the only way Purdy gets in the game (which still implies a pretty bad outlook about HH throwing ability considering what we’ve seen of Chubba)So when we need to pass and put up points he trusts Purdy more.
When we are winning and need to run the ball to melt the clock he wants Haarberg.
Sounds to me like Purdy is the better QB right now.. which is very disappointing.
If I'm down 2 touchdowns I'm putting the best guy in which gives me a shot to come back.
Agreed. There are lots of different ways to run the ball outside of the starting QB and Purdy is not exactly a statue either. However there’s only one player who should regularly throw it to run an actual offense and that’s the better passer. Rhule and staff obviously know this and that’s why you’ll see Purdy come in if Sims actually goes down and the game is closeThe difference to me @ QB2 is we are more likely to see HH in a game vs Purdy. I’d imagine HH has packages even with a heathy Sims, where Purdy’s are only if Sims goes down. They both have talent but different weaknesses. A lot of potential in both guys. A lot
Has the nfl script come out yet??It’s sad watching the great Kong die on this hill, but that’s the exact sentiment that comes from the quotes. “If we need to throw it maybe it’s Chubba”. Rhule was offering just one example scenario and Kong took it as “the only scenario” because of his HH obsession. I believe this also happened to Kong with Mickey Joseph if I remember correctly, he clearly has a mental condition of getting extremely fixated on a person and has a tough time letting go when the time comes so the mental gymnastics to desperately attempt to claw his way out start to look ugly and even sad. That probably has something to do with his multiple accounts too.
Woah I haven’t heard that one yet!Has the nfl script come out yet??
I find it rather rich hearing about which hills are sad to “die on” considering we can all find your rotting corpse atop NFL scripted mountainWoah I haven’t heard that one yet!If one could actually search the posts from your old username, (before you got banned) I specifically recall a post by you reading “I could see the NFL being rigged” which makes this even more hilarious!
This is among the most ridiculous posts ever to hit this siteIt’s sad watching the great Kong die on this hill, but that’s the exact sentiment that comes from the quotes. “If we need to throw it maybe it’s Chubba”. Well that’s an offer I was not expecting today. Almost makes me wish I was gay!If you want a kiss or an autograph just DM me, guy
You laughed at my above post about jersey numbersWell that’s an offer I was not expecting today. Almost makes me wish I was gay!
You do you homie
That is exactly my answer because that’s on par with “Purdy is the true leader because of Casey Thompson’s haircut”You laughed at my above post about jersey numbers
I’m curious if you have an answer to it
Nice little write up about him from when he committed. In Alex Bullock we trust!
He's a kid compared to Gebbia, who will be in his 7th year at Ohio State. Or Mark Crawford, the Gopher's punter from Australia, who is 30 and has another year of eligibility left after this year.Is Rahmir Johnson on the Tanner Morgan plan? How is he just a junior?
You’re doing it again though with stuff like that. You’re digging deeper than anyone should for “tea leaves” that support your HH obsession that is blinding you from what a realistic offense is.You laughed at my above post about jersey numbers
I’m curious if you have an answer to it
So, you believe in the event of a Sims injury that we will see Purdy changing jerseys on the sideline prior to his entering the game? That is exactly my answer because that’s on par with “Purdy is the true leader because of Casey Thompson’s haircut”
So to spell my answer out for you: That is a hilarious joke and I am laughing
Lol they’ll figure it out. If you’re that concerned about jersey numbers then what kind of coach is Rhule even allowing 2 offensive players to even HAVE the same number with the season mere DAYS away?!So, you believe in the event of a Sims injury that we will see Purdy changing jerseys on the sideline prior to his entering the game?
Or Bonner will change his?
You do, of course, know it’s a penalty for a team to have two players wearing the same number on the field at the same time?
I must say, that would be a first for me. Especially since the play clock will be running
Happens a lot when there’s no threat of both seeing the fieldLol they’ll figure it out. If you’re that concerned about jersey numbers then what kind of coach is Rhule even allowing 2 offensive players to even HAVE the same number with the season mere DAYS away?!
It means he's not #1 and not #4. And technically not #3How is -OR- the clear #2 in your eyes?
May the best crackpot winHappens a lot when there’s no threat of both seeing the field
Last year HH and Grant both wore 10
We all know how hyper organized Rhule is. Like I said - tea leaves.
Not everyone can read them![]()
Rhule said if we’re down 2+ scores purdy is the backup

Rahmir is a fifth year guy and has yet to exercise his Covid year. He's a kid compared to Gebbia, who will be in his 7th year at Ohio State. Or Mark Crawford, the Gopher's punter from Australia, who is 30 and has another year of eligibility left after this year.
People are completely ignoring how athletic Purdy is. He can run the whole offense. That said, HH might in fact line up as a WR or TE for a gadget play and he gives you an option on the road if we were to have a couple of receivers get injured. The discussion about who is a better option at QB will unfortunately probably get answered during the season. The difference to me @ QB2 is we are more likely to see HH in a game vs Purdy. I’d imagine HH has packages even with a heathy Sims, where Purdy’s are only if Sims goes down. They both have talent but different weaknesses. A lot of potential in both guys. A lot
