Not a fan of Eric Lee over Lamar. I think Lamar has played well enough not to lose his spot. The safeties are a much bigger concern to me than the corners.

Boy do I disagree with this. Lee may not me athletically anywhere as good as Jackson, but he tries a ton harder to cover his guy. There was a play early in the game last week where Purdue threw a long pass to some receiver literally running by himself. He was way underthrown, and it allowed Jackson to at least catch up to him to make the tackle. When the ball was in the air, Jackson was probably ten yards behind his guy! How does that happen? He is the defensive equivalent of Tyjon Lindsay, only he has been starting for two years. They both have loads of physical talent, and they both take every opportunity to NOT make the play when it is presented. This year, they are competing on who can let an opposing player run free with no coverage against dropped passes when the qb puts it right on you. We need players that just do their job and sometimes get beat. That is Bootle and Kade Warner.

I get the impressions some times that Jackson is trying to bait the QB in to a throw so he can get an interception. Somebody needs to tell him that this isn't high school anymore.

considering the only collegiate interception he has is in the spring game, he may want to reconsider his strategy.

Yes Miller will play more. I think he was in on all of 3 snaps against Purdue. For four years I keep asking, why Young?
I think his freshman and sophomore years he was all we had. He did show me more speed than most think he has chasing down a Michigan RB after he didn't get a hole filled. He looks the part, has some cover skills and must practice well. Clearly these past 2 years he's been blowing assignments but they all have. I don't know if Frost is paying homage to seniors by trying to play them as much as possible or what. It sure looks that way at times. Our O line seems to suffer from the same problem.

It’s a shame Honas is lost for the season. Hopefully Miller will make the most of this opportunity and kick some butt.

He did have one on an underthrown ball against Troy.
And that was questionable as to whether that was an interception or simultaneous possession which I think should have gone to the receiver. Lamar wrestled it away long after the whistle was blown.

Correct.

He was burned badly on that play prior to the ball being severely underthrown. Otherwise it would have been another TD for Troy. He did a nice job of wrestling for the ball, though.

To answer above I think Domann has been battling an upper body (shoulder?) injury after coming back from the knees. He is missed.
Losing Honas really sucks. Young has been trash, but plenty of other guys have had moments looking pretty awful. Show me Miller. Depth at ILB is a concern.
I agree Lamar’s INT was underwhelming since it couldve been a Troy TD easily.
I think the depth chart may be fluid remainder if season, and guys are gonna have to work for their spot everyday. Team cannot must not quit.
Frost isnt giving up and fans cant give up. I wanna still see a strong finish.
